Lex Libertas plans on extending its local structures in the Western Cape.
Given the strong level of interest and engagement in the area, it was agreed to establish two clubs as an initial step: the Cape Town Club and the Cape Winelands Club, the latter covering Wellington, Paarl, and Stellenbosch. These clubs will serve as foundational platforms for deeper local involvement, collaboration, and the development of meaningful initiatives.
As participation grows, these clubs are expected to give rise organically to additional clubs in surrounding areas across the Western Cape.
The proposed launch dates are:
The clubs will function as bottom-up platforms within Lex Libertas, encouraging contributors to participate not only financially, but also intellectually and collaboratively through discussion, research, events, and community engagement.
Anyone considering becoming a contributor, or current contributors who are interested in joining one of the Western Cape club structures, assisting with a launch, or becoming more actively involved, are kindly requested to reach out in one of the following ways:
- Send an email to Pieter Ben Roos at pb@lexlibertas.org.za.
- Send a whatsapp to our team at 063 906 6247
Please indicate your preferred club area (including medium- to long-term locations) as well as any skills or areas in which you would like to contribute.
